A painted portrait is more than an image. It captures the essence of a person, the small details that make someone truly themselves. In oil paint on canvas, with hours of attention and dedication.

That is why painting portraits is my passion. A good portrait stirs something. It has a life of its own, a presence that a photograph can never match. To immortalise someone on canvas, in a dimension that only a truly painted portrait can offer, that is what drives me.

How does it work?

We start with your wishes: size, style and atmosphere. You provide one or more reference photos, and I am happy to advise you on those choices. Based on this I will prepare a quote. The painting itself is a collaboration, working together towards the best possible result.
